Push dailies from a dead zone.
One upload pipe, right-sized for your shoot — hand-delivered to set across the Bay and Marin and set up on-site. Push dailies, run remote review, and keep DIT moving even where the bars run out. From $150/shoot-day · managed from $750/3-day.
A kit that holds when the schedule won't wait.
Right-sized uplink
One upload pipe, sized to your shoot — for pushing dailies, proxies, and remote-review streams off a location. Film work is bursty: push a batch, then idle. One pipe fits that rhythm. Heavy DIT? We provision more throughput for the job.
Coverage pre-check
Before you book, we check the sky view of your actual spot. Satellite upload varies with weather, sky view, and network load, so we set honest expectations up front rather than promise a number we can't.
Hand-delivered to set
I drive it to your location across SF, the East Bay, and out to remote Marin and Sonoma — set up, aimed, and live before your call time. Crew touches nothing.
On-site the whole shoot
On managed shoots I stay on-site and monitor the connection during your event — one person you can reach, not a support queue. If the sky view shifts, I re-aim and adjust on the spot.
One unit covers one dominant upload job — a dailies/proxy push or a remote-review stream, plus your DIT cart and a few crew devices. Running a concurrent heavy push and live remote review, or a multi-cart crew? Need more throughput or coverage? Add a unit (+$250/unit/shoot-day).
From booking to uplink — before call time.
Book your dates
Reserve your shoot dates and location with a flat, published price. We confirm coverage for your spot and lock the delivery window — no back-and-forth on a quote.
Hand-delivered to your location
I drive out to set across the Bay and into remote Marin and Sonoma, place the dish for clean sky, and bring it live. No crew time spent pointing a dish.
Satellite uplink, live
The satellite link carries the load. Push dailies, run remote review, and keep DIT moving. Throughput varies with weather and sky view — we size and aim for your spot and set honest expectations.
I stay on-site
On managed shoots I stay on-site and monitor the connection the whole day. If the sky view shifts, I re-aim and adjust on the spot — one person you can reach, not a support queue.
Two ways to get connected.
Self-serve
Managed production package
We don't promise a fixed Mbps number — satellite upload varies with sky view, weather, and network load. We pre-check coverage for your spot, right-size the uplink for your shoot, hand-deliver and set it up on-site, and stay on-site to monitor on managed shoots.
For the line producer.
What upload throughput should we expect?
One upload pipe, right-sized for your shoot and tuned for pushing dailies, proxies, and remote-review streams. Real-world satellite upload varies with sky view, weather, and how busy the network is, so we don't promise a fixed megabit number — that's an honest call, not a hedge. What we do: pre-check coverage for your location before you book, hand-deliver and set it up on-site, and stay on-site to monitor on managed shoots. Tell us your file sizes and turnaround and we'll size the setup and set honest expectations up front. For a heavy concurrent push plus live remote review, we add a throughput unit (+$250/unit/shoot-day).
What happens if the connection has trouble on a shoot day?
We focus on reliability up front instead of selling a money-back promise. Before you book, we pre-check the sky view of your specific location. On managed shoots I stay on-site and monitor the connection the whole day, so if the sky view shifts behind a ridge or tree line I can re-aim and adjust on the spot. Satellite throughput naturally varies with weather and sky view — we're honest about that rather than promising it can't happen.
Can you deliver to a remote Marin or Sonoma location?
Yes — remote locations are the whole point. I drive the kit to set across SF, the East Bay, and out into West Marin, Point Reyes, and the Sonoma and Napa valleys, place the dish for clean sky, and bring it live before call time. Send us the location pin and we'll confirm coverage and a delivery window.
What if the sky view shifts mid-shoot?
Satellite needs a clear view of the sky, and on a moving production that can change. On managed shoots I stay on-site the whole day, so if the connection dips behind a ridge or tree line I can re-position and re-aim the dish on the spot. Throughput varies with weather, sky view, and network load — we set honest expectations up front and I'm there to adjust.
Can you invoice the production or take a PO?
Yes. Managed packages come with clean invoicing so connectivity drops onto the budget as a single line item — easy to expense or bill against a PO. We can provide a W-9 on request — just ask.
Is the data unlimited?
Yes — every rental includes unlimited data. No per-gigabyte meter and no overage bill, so big dailies pushes and long upload windows are fine.
